Optimize and clean WordPress theme (PHP, CSS, JS) – Upwork

Hi! We need to:

* Clean the WordPress theme and remove all unused modules and templates from its core.
* Unhook and remove everything that is not used throughout browsing and checkout processes.
* Profile PHP code and remove any redundant theme functions and templates that are not serving any purpose or/and unnecessary.
* Remove all unused CSS throughout the site (compile new file) and create separate inline above-the-fold CSS.

Communicate how would you go about executing the task, not about you previous experience. Theme root folder is provided on Github along with Xdebug profile logs of required front end pages.

Only interested in working with freelancers from the EU, USA or The Philippines, others please don't apply.
