We are looking for someone to join our international DVE team as Finance & HR Assistant. This is a full-time 40 hrs a week role based in the Philippines and can be performed from a home office. Reliable internet connection is vital for performing this role. You must be willing to meet up with our existing Philippines-based team and will work under the direction of our long-term Team Lead based there. You will be an important part of the DVE international team.
The role offers the successful applicant the chance to grow the responsibilities and build the role into something even bigger. As part of this role, you will join in on team training activities remotely and attend our Australia-based quarterly ‘team days’ either remotely or even in person occasionally.
You will look after our financial requirements and report to Finance & Operations Support Officer. You must be willing to learn, have a great attitude and be an active member of our team. You will have to work autonomously but a supervisor is provided as is a Philippine's based Team Leader. You must be available to perform your tasks ‘DAILY’ (Mon-Fri) preferably during Australian working hours as part of an ongoing engagement and you will be an engaged and committed member of our virtual team. Training and procedures will be provided where available.
Regular activities including but not limited to:
Finance:
– Inbox management for finance email
– End-to-End Accounts Payable including creating bills in Xero
– End-to-End Accounts Receivable including drafting & sending invoices/credit notes in Xero
– Bank Reconciliations in Xero
– Running and distributing reports
– Support Cash flow forecasting process
– Assist in month-end financial reports
– Leave Audit
HR:
Other activities:
– Expense Claims checking
– Travel Expense Tracking
– Assisting Finance Coordinator & other Finance Support Officer(s) with Adhoc tasks
– Animal Therapeutics support
The candidate MUST be an advanced user of Xero
Experience in Teamwork Project Management Platform is desirable
