I am seeking a person to research and write a book on outsourcing IT Projects from Australia to the Philippines.
The deliverable product will need to be min 50000 words plus graphics and illustration.
You will need to provide and end to end service, from researching the content from websites to writing the final product.
Position Description:
Researcher /Ghost Writer to create a Book from Internet resources. The work involves researching specific topics and filtering through the information and then using it as the basis for the book. The deliverable is the content for a book with – intro, disclaimer, table of contents, All chapters and graphics.
The Researcher/Writer will be responsible for:
– Using his/her creative writing skills to generate the content to match the specifications
– Editing / Rewriting the content once feedback has been given
– Submitting progress work everyday
– Locating appropriate royalty free images
The right candidate should:
– Have excellent English writing and editing skills (strong grammar and correct sentence structure) as well as creativity and sense of design.
-Have good attention to detail – I expect you to be able to read and follow written instructions well
without my having to repeat them to you. If a task isn’t clear to you, I would expect you to contact me and ask me to clarify and tell me about what it is you need help with.
-Be committed to work – I am looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity and available to work on different projects as well as adaptable as priorities change and new opportunities arise.
-Be self-motivated – I expect you to manage the projects you are working on and not expect me to remind you of what needs to be done. And meet the deadlines
-Be Reliable – when you commit to completing the work, I expect you to keep your commitments.
-Demonstrate desire and a willingness to learn
-Be willing to communicate and ask question
Stay in close communication with me is also very important. Therefore, it is essential that the Researcher/Writer have a reliable Internet connection and a Skype account.
I will hire the chosen candidate initially on a 4-day trial basis to see if we are a good fit.
Once hired, the Researcher/Writer should provide a project outline to start and deliver work to meet daily milestones, progress updates as to any questions that may arise.
