Hello! I am moving to Cebu City, Philippines in order to develop a team for our ecommerce company. I need a local Personal Assistant to arrange and manage details related to our business contacts and also some personal matters.
The chosen applicant will become my "right-hand" person to handle all the details so that I can focus on business development. I will also be out of the country for about 4 months of the year, so during this time this person will be my representative in my absence. Applicants must be able to start work immediately.
The provider I seek MUST be located in Cebu City. I'm here now in Cebu and will be interviewing final applicants personally.
Hours:
Monday-Saturday mostly during business hours. Should be 20-25 hours per week for the first few weeks to get us set up, then 10+ hours per week after that
Setup tasks:
1. Help me find housing & negotiate terms
2. Assist with locating & interviewing BPO & call centers
3. Arrange for receiving incoming boxes from overseas
4. Help with cultural details & getting comfortable in Cebu
5. Help with anything else that comes up which I haven't thought of!
Ongoing tasks:
1. Assist with local bill payments & arrangements
2. Coordinate with local accountant
3. Hiring and interviewing other providers on Odesk & Elance for specific jobs
4. Manage photos for our website
5. Translation services with locals when necessary
6. Coordinate local transportation
7. Travel arrangements & bookings
8. Manage local social engagements
Skills needed:
• Excel, Word, Google Docs
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent English langugage skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong research skills
• Solid interpersonal skills & good personality
• Detail & deadline oriented
• Fast internet connection and reliable computer (cannot use public computers for security reasons)
