Project description.
1. WordPress Website Re-Design and header graphics, including:
– Creating a new header banner image
– Finding a background image for the website to create a professional look
– Adapting the U-design Theme settings for colour scheme, and to accomodate new header & background
– Creating a new home page using the widgets, including featured menu. The home page will need to include new social media buttons, the welcome video and opt-in form (using Aweber script code provided).
– Updating the footer & sidebar widgets – just so they look better and show more content. – Creating a new banner for 'advertise your services or organisation here'… to look more professional and match the new design.
2. 'Search by State' function using Map Image, including:
– Using map image provided, create code to map the image and create clickable link for each state on the map.
– Include state categories for each state for business directory listings. Once a state is selected on the map, search results must display business listings within that state. Other categories (type of business) may also be searched within a state, enabling for maintaining the 'state' filter while searching non-state categories (Support, Respite, etc.).
3. Adsense integration, including:
– Adding Adsense space on all pages related to the directory (category pages, search results pages)
– Adding Adsense space at the bottom of sidebar
– Customising the look and feel of the advertising space so that it fits in with the theme and design.
