We are developing a web platform for telemarketing in the Philippines and are looking for an experienced project manager and web developer to lead the team.
You will be working with the end customers and our telemarketing staff 50% of the time, helping them to go through the process. So you will actually be doing work such as: Supporting the clients and helping them to use the dialer. Then the rest of the time you will work on building and improving the system. You will work with and manage one other team member, a full time php developer (using the Codeigniter framework).
We are not developing a dialer, just a platform for agent applications, customer sign up and some integration with an existing dialer. If you do have any experience in developing a dialer that's a bonus.
So you will need to spend some time managing the other developer, some time developing the application yourself and a lot of time working with customers and writing the specifications of what needs to happen in the system to make life easier for the customers and to systematize the business. You'll be interfacing directly with the owners on a regular basis.
You must have perfect written and spoken English. You should have experience developing projects using Php. You should have experience with project management. You will not ONLY be programming. You will be spending a lot of time with clients and finding out what they need to make improvements to the system.
This is a work from home position, with some flexible hours, but it is full time (you can't do this job whilst in another position).
