ok. here is what i am looking for:
i need a person that will work with me on an ongoing basis (permanent consistent work) in the area of web development, design, etc.
i have a need to create many websites and i want them to be wordpress sites so i can make posts and do simple things without having to work through anyone. I am versed in website development and wordpress, dreamweaver, and all adobe products. i need someone who can, with my direction design mockups with my specifications and then do the html, etc and then either create a custom theme or implement those changes or designs into existing theme.
i require very strict accountability. it is not personal, but every day, i need to see the work performed. i am a 30 year veteran business brand builder and i retired last year and decided i dont like it. i am starting several companies and i have lot so need for design work/development right away and into the future.
i am very familiar with outsourcing in the philippines and India. I have many friends with offices around the world and i went to the philippines last year looking for the location of my new office. I am very serious about building an office oversees and having many people working for me.
i am not a guy looking to build one simple website and be done, i need people to work on an ongoing basis and i need someone to be very responsive to my needs. i have used odesk and elance many times to my dismay.
there are thousands of miles that seperate us and you dont know me and i dont know you. i have hired thousands of people in my life and i have to work with someone who is willing to answer my questions and i have to have ways to manage projects where i keep the costs down to a minimum. i can give a lot of work to the right people.
i prefer to work on a "project fee" basis instead of hourly. i am putting hourly in the description but i prefer to have a quote for individual websites and design projects. i have never had a good experience with "hourly" contracting. the incentive is to waste time and ring up hourly fees. if you are good at what you do and you are fast, then it works out great for you. but if you drag a project out, then there is no real savings for me here in the states.
please don't think i can't hire quality people for fair price in the states. If i don't have significant savings and its not easy or dependable working with outsourcing, i will stick with doing everything in house.
if someone or multiple people would like a great opportunity to work with someone who will treat them right and have a long term relationship, then i am your guy. i do however, require certain things as i have discussed above. I know i have written a lot here, but i don't want to waste your time or mine. the second i get treated like you can take advantage of me, i will stop the relationship instantly.
i have to own all source code and i expect to receive photoshop files, html, everything on an ongoing basis. i will have other people working for me here in the states that will be looking at all files and work to assure compliance and quality.
if you are an amateur, please do not reply, if you are not reliable or just don't have time for a significant client, please do not respond. if you are sensitive and can't handle lots of questions in the beginning, don't bother.
with all that said, i have built many successful companies and i am going to do it again. i am looking to build a new team and i believe "outsourcing" has great opportunities if the problems of "outsourcing" can be overcome.
if you don't speak English well, at least enough for me to easily understand you, it probably won't work either.

if you do not have a picture on your profile or experience with odesk and references, dont bother unless you have a hell of a story and can prove yourself. if you do great work for me and are reliable, i will be great to work with and i will bonus you and do all kinds of fun things.
