Position Activities:
o Develop and maintain complex, current- and future-state conceptual and logical data models
o Work closely with SMEs to collaborate and define requirements
o Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business vocabulary, ontologies and taxonomies
o Craft modeling standards, policies and procedures
o Manage modeling roadmaps/backlogs
o Prepare artifacts for development team
Methodology Experience:
o Information Engineering (IE)
o Reference Architecture Modeling
o Scrum/Agile
o IDEF0 is a plus
o UML is a plus
General Experience:
o 7 to 10 years of experience with large and complex database management systems
o Ideally has experience with IBM/Rational tools: Rational/Infosphere Data Architect (IDA),
Rational System Architect (RSA), Rational Software Architect (RSA) or Sybase Power Designer, etc.
o Ideally has experience with travel industry and/or eCommerce.
