You’ll be writing posts on intercultural dating, romance, marriage, cultural issues, all things relationship between non-Asian people and Asian people, of all genders, involving a partner from any of the following countries:
-Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines, other ASEAN nations
The tone will be human, conversational, me-to-you, and not preachy.
I'll be specific in what I need and I won't ask for unreasonable revisions (read my reviews – they’re pretty spot-on). Do good work, I’ll send you more. You MUST read the guidelines and follow them and the structure I request. It's a proven formula that makes easy-to-read articles. And it may even make you a better writer.
Requirements:
-Native English speaker or non-native with native-level fluency (I should not have to fix your grammar and spelling)
-Have been in a relationship with an Asian person
-Have spent time in Asia
-Good online research skills to supplement your own knowledge – this is mandatory because these are not opinion pieces; they're intended to answer questions people have
-You don’t have to be a great writer; just be able to get your thoughts out in short, sharp, natural wording; and be able to write and research your topic.
It’ll work like this:
1) Place your bid.
2) If I'm in interested I’ll get in touch to follow up and offer you some article topics. Choose the one you want to do.
3) Accept the job offer. Usually you’ll have 1 week to do the article.
4) 50% will be put as the first milestone, and awarded when you submit an adequate first draft that follows the guidelines and requirements
5) Complete any revision requests and send the final
6) Get paid the balance and a tip if you did an especially good job.
Target total words: 1,200+. You’re welcome to go up to 2K, and I may raise the price if the added words do add value and aren't filler.
