Benefits Administration Specialist – Upwork

We are looking for a very detail oriented, intelligent professional with Microsoft Office experience and advanced data entry and data auditing skills.  The position involves preparation of important employee communication materials using various templates.  The work requires learning some health insurance terminologies and concepts.  This position will report to our Philippines Country Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Preparation of employee benefits communication materials using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint templates
• Audit insurance plan premium invoices against reports extracted from our employee benefits management software
• Research discrepancies discovered in the insurance premium invoice audits by reviewing transactions and in some cases communicating with insurance vendors via email or telephone
• Process employee benefits enrollment and disenrollment transactions via insurance carrier administration website portals
• Work in our SalesForce technology to manage tasks and projects
• Other similar tasks as position requires

Required skills and experience:
• Intermediate or advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Very strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple high priory tasks concurrently
