The core purpose of the Inside Sales Representative is to increase revenue from new and existing customers. Inside Sales Representatives will sell HR.com educational courses to HR professionals preparing for their SHRM/HRCI certification and re-certification tests. Additional products will be added to your portfolio as your performance improves (and that means even more money for you!!!)
The inside sales rep will be a member of a remote (home) based sales team located in the Philippines (ideally in Cebu, but let’s still talk if you are not) . You will be working US time zones for 40 hours per week (21:00 – 10:00 depending on your territory). You will utilize our office tools, CRM, LinkedIn, and other sources to research client information and make outbound “cold” calls as well as responding to inbound leads. The expectation is 40 phone calls per day as well as sending followup emails and tracking activity in the HR.com CRM (and other related tools). HR.com invests a lot of effort into our marketing programs (which is MORE good news for you) and it is expected that you will respond to all leads within 1 business day to ensure maximum sales conversions from conversations. In addition to responding to inbound leads, Inside Sales Representatives will follow up with past clients as well as prospects that showed interest in HR.com to inquire about re-certification interest. Sales Reps will meet with the head of sales on a weekly basis to ask questions, review performance, provide input/ideas. Reps will also meet as a team weekly to review team performance and share best practices and ask questions.
Accountabilities :
Generate Revenue
1. Achieve $9,000 per month within 3 months
2. Achieve and maintain $18,000 per month within by 4th month and beyond
Average sales size – $686
Customer volume:
1. Close sales with at least 14 customers per month, within 3 months.
2. Close sales with at least 27 customers monthly by 4th month and beyond.
Activity (tracked by completion of daily activity sheets)
Tracked in Jive, CRM, and Upwork:
1. 40 cold calls per day (200 calls per week)
2. Follow up with new leads within 1 business day achieving (0 open leads at 3+ days)
3. Follow up with past customers on re-certification
Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation on time.
Required skills, competencies, and experience:
1. Sales skills (breaking the ice, creating and nurturing relationships, follow through on commitments, asking for the sale, asking prospects for calendar commitments to follow-up, creating follow-up plans with prospects and customers)
2. Verbal and written fluency, and conversational, in English
3. Strong phone presence and articulate when speaking English
4. Ability to work without direct supervision (you will be managed remotely by a great guy, HR.com’s head of sales located in the US)

-NO FEAR with picking up the phone and calling people you’ve never met to sell them to qualify them as a prospect and sell HR.com’s services
-Previous experience working in sales focused call center
Required resources (must have):
-Access to a private space where you can make phone calls and speak at a decent volume during your nighttime shift, which is our north American day time shift
-Access to reliable (fast) internet
