Project Background:
The absence of consistent and reliable performance from the Mega DC in the Philippines is resulting in a significant constraint on the ability of the business to deliver the growth ambition.
Project aims to do a step change in E2E warehouse transition with operational excellence.
Scope of Work:
To structurally and address the ambient logistics constraints in the Philippines and ensure rapid and sustained restoration of service (CCFOT) and turnover delivery. Tasks includes:
– Creation of E2E project blue book and lead the network from the front
– Develop a project plan which supports, monitors and delivers the individual tasks necessary for the warehouse relocation
– Liaise with contractors/3PL and all other internal stakeholders over various aspects of transition
– Management of the agreed project plan ensuring milestones are met on time and to plan.
– Ensure any risks to the project timeline are identified, quantified and communicated to key stakeholders
– Prepare plans to mitigate risks which could impact the project plan and gain agreement from key stakeholders.
– Communicate as required changes to the plan including impacts to time and budget
– Engage and maintain good, active working relationships with the wider project team and impacted functions
– Liaise with IT to ensure all relevant any system changes (SAP/WMOS) required for the move are submitted, tested and released into the production
– Work with all functional leads in Customer Service & Planning to ensure 100% continuity of supply during the transition period.
Freelancer Essentials:
•Demonstrable track record of delivering on time and to budget large scale warehouse transition
•Conversant with warehouse operations; inbound receipt, put-away, pick/pack and dispatch.
•Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to interface & influence effectively at all levels of the organization and work effectively in a complex matrix environment.
•Effective, articulate, and concise communicator with effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
•Strong Analytical, data management, and organizational skills.
•Proficient in MS Office (Project, Excel, PPT) and understanding of WMOS systems a benefit
Onsite Requirements: The role needs to be based at the Cabuyao Mega DC in Laguna. We are open to candidates from other regions/countries if willing to relocate.
Availability: Full time (40 hours per week)
Duration: Six to 9 months depending on final aligned plan.
