I need a python script which will basically do two things:
(1) Access Etsy API to check the price and stock status (whether it's available or sold) of Etsy products. I should be able to specify which products to check by providing Etsy product URLs and then the script should access Etsy via API to check price and stock status.
(2) The data returned should be presented in an XML format published in some URL which include <price> and <stock> (value of 1 if available and 0 if sold). Also, the XML should include <sku> that corresponds to the Etsy product URL I specified. This <sku> data is something that I will specify on my own alongside the Etsy product URLs to choose from.
This script will be uploaded to https://www.pythonanywhere.com and run continuously. Any set up assistance to do this in https://www.pythonanywhere.com will be much appreciated as I have no experience with how the service works.
The XML file will be used to update products on a certain website and the <sku> field is used to correctly map which products changed prices and/or stock status.
If you have a better workaround on this, don't hesitate to let me know.
