Need help with multiple assistant tasks, from making phone calls and scheduling to transcription. – Upwork

Ideal Time:
M-F 1 – 5 pm PST

Ideal Tasks:
Help with calendaring, transcriptions, miscellaneous
Updating WordPress site content (just changing text or pictures)
Filling out paperwork/pdf based on very clear instructions (I won't ask them to figure out anything complex)
Converting bank statements to excel and then categorizing them
Email management would mainly be converting user issues/emailed tasks to Trello, answering frequently asked questions (with questions and answers compiled together on an ongoing basis), and unsubscribing from ANY email with unsubscribe at the bottom
Making phone calls to check on the status of something or schedule an appointment
Research a topic/question and come up with possible answers based on expert opinion (""How can nonprofits use 990 forms for fundraising efforts?""). They would have to just provide a few links with excerpts in a Google Doc
Transcribe PDFs/images
Do monthly email/chat/phone check-in with certain employees (literally just asking them to talk with updates/concerns and putting that into a card)
Remind me of unusual things on my calendar, things I'm waiting for (based on Trello), etc.
Send invoices/reminders using Waveapps
Random Trello management (Move tasks from List A to B when the due date is within the week, add any tasks assigned to me from other boards to my board once a week, etc.)
Random Internet Work (go through this page and make sure all the links work, go through the site and make sure xyz shows up on every page, compare this list of people to the list on the website and figure out what's missing, etc)
Maybe need voice/video transcription or proofreading

Hello there,

We are a translation company operating for 10 years already, with clients that include Microsoft and Nokia.

We need a long term partner for Japanese into English translations.

The non-negotiable budget for translation tasks is US$0.04 per target English word. Editing and proofreading tasks are paid per hour at US$8.

In order to qualify, you must be:

1) a native Japanese speaker with a good command of English–OR, a native English speaker with at least 5 years of consistent practice of the Japanese language

2) You must also be ONLINE on Skype Messenger as often as possible–and AT LEAST DURING THE JOB. This is so we can check on your status.

3) Sign our contract of collaboration which will protect all parties.

4) Be willing to provide post-delivery quality assurance support to the client pertaining to the output you will deliver.

We are looking for dedicated, experienced and honest providers as this could be the start of a long term collaboration.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT Notes BEFORE BIDDING:

5) 100% HUMAN TRANSLATION ONLY. All translations must be done by humans. Contractors are forbidden from using Machine Translation (such as Google Translate, Systran or Babel) in any way and for any purpose. We know how to detect work done by automated translations and will NEVER PAY for any such jobs.

6) NO "BAIT and SWITCH" PRICING TACTICS. Once we select you among other bidders, you must not change your bid price. As a goodwill step, we transparently show snippets of the actual source file, so that you will have a clear understanding of the work. We never change files, so you shouldn't also change your bid. If you do this we will not hesitate to refer you to UpWork for investigation.

7) NO UPFRONT. Sorry we don't pay upfront or deposit, simply because our own clients never pay us any upfront. Just check our stellar track record to see the positive feedbacks our providers have left for us.

8) UPWORK PAYMENT ONLY – Sorry, no payment outside UpWork. We pay through UpWork, and only through UpWork. We pay after our client confirms that no quality issues remain with the job. Payment will be posted in 3 to 5 working days for jobs amounting to less than US$100; for jobs worth US$100 to less than US$200, payment will be posted in 15 calendar days; please allow payment to be posted in at least 30 calendar days for payments worth US$200 and above.

9) No "personal emergency" excuses. Please be professional and complete the work. If we award you the UpWork job and you accept it…then you bail out due to some flimsy reason, we will refer you to UpWork for investigation and possible suspension.

10) NO PAYMENT for MISSED DEADLINE. – 1 hour delay means you will no longer be paid for the job. Don't accept a job if you can't meet the deadline. All our deadlines are fixed.

Article Writer Wanted for Philippines Travel Blog – Upwork

Looking for a writer who can create some awesome articles about travel in the Philippines! In particular, these will be for a blog focused on eco-tourism, and responsible traveling (not hurting the environment and local culture).

About 3/4 of the posts will be more informational in nature, answering things that people might type into google.  (for example "Where are the best places to swim with whale sharks" or "top diving destinations near Cebu). Roughly 1/4 of the posts will be more product review types of posts (for example, "Palawan island hopping packing list".  These sorts of posts will include introduction, conclusion, mini buying guides, and product descriptions with links to affiliate sites. More detailed requirements will be provided upon request.

***The first milestone will be for 1 article. 1,000 words total. After that, we will see how good the article is, how efficient you were, and if it makes sense budget-wise. I will then hire you long-term if you're up for it.

I'm not looking for some ridiculous rates as this wasn't part of my original budget for the project, but I will pay anything reasonable.

I'm looking for someone who is efficient in research and writing with minimal to no mistakes.

I prefer someone who has written articles of this nature before.

We are a real estate investment company in Atlanta, GA metro area. We buy and sell single-family houses directly from sellers or through brokers. We are expanding and looking to add full time VA to our team.

The right candidate will perform a mix of virtual assistant, customer service rep (CSR) and data entry duties. Here are the lists of potential VA activities:

• Take inbound calls, follow up
• Cold calling the sellers
• Call counties and cities to generate leads
• Generate leads from online sources: Zillow FSBO, FSBO Sites, Craigslist, GoSection8, Auction.com, HudHomeStore.gov, Hubzu
• Send offers on MLS properties, pending properties
• Update KPI
• Update mailing lists
