Brankas is looking for a strong mobile developer with previous experience building production quality native mobile apps in both Android and iOS (Swift/Objective C). Candidates should have a strong desire to work in a fast moving, but rigorous development environment, with focus on pushing high quality, production grade, and secure code. Candidates should be familiar with integrating into service-oriented architectures / “microservices” and have strong working knowledge of restful APIs.
Brankas is a cutting-edge provider of consumer and enterprise focused financial management software and systems. Brankas’ backend service-oriented architecture is entirely written in Go, and deployed on cloud-based systems (GCP, AWS), making heavy use of third-party systems and APIs.
In this position, you will work directly, hands-on with the CTO and will have the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on the future technology of a fast growing tech company and platform.
Ideal Qualifications:
– Development of Android and iOS applications by using Android Studio and Xcode with Java, Swift, Objective-C and Kotlin
– Good experiences for teamwork with agile and source control such as Bitbucket and GitHub
– Integration of Restful APIs and must know how to use libraries such as Retrofit and AFNetworking
– Integration of third-party services such as Google and Firebase
– Good knowledge / understanding of ReactiveX, especially usage of RxJava, RxAndroid and RxSwift
– Deep understanding in life cycles of main components such as Activity, Fragment, Services, UINavigationController, UIViewController and so on
– Good skills in designing UI screens by using XML and Storyboard
– Familiar with injection libraries like Butterknife
– Candidate must know how to use gradle and pod for mobile projects
– Social integrations of Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and so on
– Ability to write and maintain clean, readable code that will scale as our team grows
– Strong analytical and planning skills
– Good communication and presentation skills
– Excellent problem-solving skills
