DESCRIPTION:
The Media Manager is responsible for planning, optimizing, and reporting campaigns to meet and surpass the clients’ success metrics, while also supporting the team where needed with other projects and planning. He/she thoroughly understands the fundamentals of paid search and PLA, and support a wide selection of interesting brands with digital marketing needs.
ACCOUNTABILITIES – What you’ll be doing:
-Manages the day-to-day SEM + PLA campaign execution, including the creation of new assets and optimization of current ones. Understands tactical operations and levers to achieve success for the account.
-Owns all aspects of campaign management from the initial planning, brainstorming, utilization of 3rd party tools/resources, to building out reporting templates and optimizations.
Develops campaign reporting and works with SMM to provide analysis and recommendations.
-Manages campaign bidding and daily budgets, effectively optimizing for performance.
-Maintains daily budget sheets; identify/addresses red flags. Responsible for billing reconciliation management.
-Evaluates provided proposals and makes initial recommendations.
-Ad hoc duties as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE – What you’ll bring to the table:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-A minimum of two years in Paid Search media SEM and general marketing coordination.
-A minimum of two years managing and optimizing product feeds for PLA, Comparison Shopping –Engines or third-party marketplaces.
-Experience with shopping campaigns and/or retail accounts necessary.
-Significant Microsoft Excel experience, as well as PowerPoint knowledge.
-Expertise in the fundamentals of paid search, and preferably a base knowledge of other digital channels.
-Adwords Certification preferred.
-Deep understanding of attribution modelling
-A passion for negative keywords
